Intrax Consulting Group Hiring for IT Support Engineer at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Full Time
Intrax Consulting Engineers are an Australian owned, mid-sized engineering company that provide an end to end service to our clients across a range of services including: Structural, Civil, Residential, Building Services, Forensic, Surveying and Geotechnical Engineering.

We are seeking for an IT Support Engineer providing internal Level 1/Level 2 IT support to join our Sydney office. This is Part Time role.
In this exciting and fast paced role your day to day will include
- Providing IT support to end-users, addressing hardware and software-related issues
- Assisting in the setup and maintenance of user accounts, permissions, and access rights
- Monitoring system performance and assist in troubleshooting and resolving network and server issues
- Performing and Monitoring routine system backups
- Collaborating with team members to implement security measures and updates.
- Assisting in the installation and configuration of hardware and software components
- Maintaining documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides
- Responding to user inquiries and provide timely solutions or escalate as needed
- Contributing to IT projects and initiatives as required
To be successful in this role you will
- Minimum 1+ years’ experience in IT Support role
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows 10 & 11, Windows Server 2019, etc.) and networking concepts
- Basic understanding of Cloud Computing
- Familiarity with hardware components and computer peripherals
- Strong problem-solving skills and an eagerness to learn and adapt
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Any relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+) are a plus
- Previous experience in a technical support or IT-related role is a bonus
