What We Are Looking For

We are keen to appoint teachers who understand the importance of high-quality teaching and learning with a personalised approach to meet individual needs.

• Qualified teacher with QTS
• Contribute to the development and coordination of the online College CELTA provision
• Teach and assess on the CELTA programme following course requirements as set out by Cambridge Assessment
• Teach a range of EFL/ESP/ESOL programmes from beginner to advanced level both at College and off campus, as required.
• Support international students on programmes across College, as needed, both pastorally and academically.
• The ability to engage a team of colleagues, inspire trust, and implement the right strategies within your lessons to ensure sustained progress across the subject
• Support the development of the College CELTA provision and liaise with appropriate external organisations.
• Have high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour
• Be effective communicators with staff, parents and children
• Provide and maintain a stimulating classroom environment that promotes children’s learning
• Provide leadership in relation to specific aspects of the CELTA provision.
• Be willing to contribute to our programme of extra-curricular activities
• Be committed to continuous improvement and development of both your students, yourself, and the department
• Track and review student programmes and maintain student records including maintaining accurate records of assessment, attendance and punctuality.
• Commitment to engage with and inspire pupils and build excellent relationships
