International Sports Sciences Association Hiring for Talent Acquisition Coordinator at Newport Beach, CA, United States Full Time

GENERAL SUMMARY : The Talent Acquisition (TA) Coordinator will support the Talent Acquisition & VP / Human Resource function on key recruitment processes & HR procedures which will ultimately contribute to the growth and expansion of UFC GYM.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

Handle requisition intake including opening and posting requisitions via Applicant Tracking System, job boards, social media, LinkedIn, and other methods.

Effectively track and update job postings.

• Assist in the sourcing, recruiting, and screening of open field positions as needed.
• Update Talent Acquisition files, standard operating procedures and training guides as necessary.
• Heavy training and troubleshooting for hiring managers.
• Provide support on the full cycle recruitment process for positions by scheduling and coordinating interviews, generating offer letters, and electronic onboarding.
• Coordinate background, drug, and reference checking processes.
• Work with field managers to ensure new employees are properly onboarded and that hiring managers are trained appropriately.
• Applicant Tracking System support including data entry, creation of end user accounts, troubleshooting, resetting of passwords, modifying, and updating data.
• Substantial general administrative duties include submitting weekly recruiting updates for the field newsletter, updating budget s, revising, and drafting job descriptions, reviewing invoices, ordering recruitment collateral, managing the Recruiting email inbox and other duties as assigned.
• Maintain records of employment (onboarding paperwork), process necessary paperwork, and ensure that the human resources processes follow state, federal, and local regulations.
• Provide a high level of candidate service and quality throughout the recruitment process.
• Processing, reviewing, and uploading background checks to ATS system.
• Supporting Benefits & Payroll various task and duties.

ORGANIZATION RELATIONSHIPS : The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will directly to the Human Resources Manager and will work cross functionally with all members of Human Resources.

This position will also partner closely with all field business leaders.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

Knowledge, skills & abilities :

• Experience working with Applicant Tracking systems (ATS), internet-based job boards
• Passionate about social media recruiting along with creating content for social platforms related to Talent Acquisitions.
• Clear understanding of staffing principles, hiring practices, employee relations, and federal and state labor laws
• Must have strong technical skills and abilities with project management, creative development, critical thinking, and analytical abilities.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now (required).
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now Recruiting preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must have strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong Presentation skills and using video conferencing programs like (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, WebEx).
• Strong service, interpersonal, teamwork and organizational skills.
• Detail oriented and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage work time efficiently.
• Flexible schedule that may include working some nights and on the weekends.
• Superior verbal communication, writing and negotiation skills.
• Proven ability to contribute consistently and positively in a fast paced, high volume, rapidly changing environment.
• Proactive, goal-oriented attitude with the ability to excel with minimal supervision.
• Experience staffing retail, field, or gym positions preferred but not required.

Required Experience :

Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Minimum of 2 years in Talent Acquisition / Human Resources experience and / or minimum 2 years of exempt and non-exempt level recruiting experience.

Physical Requirements :

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for up to 8 hours. The employee occasionally sits, walks, kneels, and reaches with hands and arms.
• Occasionally required to lift and / or move up to 10 lbs.
