Purpose of the role

To ensure the effective operation of the accounts payable function on a day to day basis.

Role Responsibilities

• Record and code all invoices in a timely manner and update all relevant systems.
• Ensure all payments are made to providers in accordance with agreed cycles and ensure urgent requests for payments are appropriately approved
• Ensure all Medical Case related accounts payables queries are addressed.
• Record all travel sales invoices within the ERP system (Oracle)
• Reconciliation of statements
• Review and ensure staff expenses are paid and substantiated with full and appropriate supporting documentation.
• Ensure prompt and accurate payment of corporate credit cards and other banking payments as directed
• Prepare, post and reconcile intercompany cross company charges

Skills and experience

• Minimum intermediate MS Excel Skills preferred
• Experience in high volume accounts payable role
• Foreign Currency Experience (Desirable but not mandatory)
• Experience using Oracle System (Desirable but not mandatory)

Qualification

• Minimum of a tertiary certificate in Finance/ Accounting or equivalent
