1. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, marketing, sports management, or any business-related field. Preferably good experience in boarding school admissions, with a strong network of global education consultants and agents. Also experience in managing a team helpful, with responsibility for bottom line revenues and recruitment targets. A proven track record of success in business development and building a high performing team.
2. Knowledge, Skills & Competencies: With responsibility for implementing the strategic plan for recruitment at IJGA, this individual should be highly skilled and experienced in all aspects of boarding school recruitment. The Director of Recruitment & Admissions should not only be highly knowledgeable of proven recruitment strategies but possess a network of relationships to immediately impact the recruitment efforts of IJGA. Personal competencies include excellent management skills; organizational discipline; and impeccable attention to detail and follow-through. This individual will be experienced, not only in relationship management, but in the systems, processes and procedures that are necessary for effective sales management, including knowledge and competence with HubSpot. An excellent communicator, this individual should demonstrate a strong track record of building a sales/recruitment organization with proven results. A professional and positive approach, this self-motivated, disciplined, team player should have the ability to work independently, and must be completely trustworthy in the quality, timeliness, and implementation of work. Knowledge with sports related recruitment is an added benefit.
3. Position Summary: Reporting to the IJGA Management Group, the Director of Recruitment & Admissions will have direct responsibility for recruitment strategy and operations. Full responsibility includes but is not limited to:
· Accountable for the execution and implementation of the strategic recruitment plans to achieve revenue targets (Coach Network, Alumni, Education Consultants, Agents/Partners, Events/Clinics/Seminars).
· Manage personal Coach Network, Education Consultant and Agent relationships for immediate impact on IJGA recruitment, requiring regular reporting of what they have achieved, will achieve and what assistance they need.
· Focus on business development and the acquisition of new Consultant, Partners and Agents, building a high-performance recruitment team, which may include Program Advisors.
· Manage the recruitment budget to ensure good ROI and fiscal responsibility, particularly any recruitment trips, with clear itinerary and goals for any such trips and expected ROI.
· Manage sales processes and procedures including HubSpot management.
· Work closely with interdependent departments (Finance, Admissions, Golf, Marketing) to ensure close collaboration and teamwork for the common goals and objectives of the company.
· Accountable to manage and circulate all sales reporting including HubSpot and other relevant sales reports as per the PPM (country strategies; demographics; sales targets).
· Develop annual, quarterly, and monthly targets, plans and actions to maintain execution focus for the recruitment team.
§ Develop digital recruitment strategies to support the revenue targets (inbound campaigns and lead generation strategies).
· Oversee and evaluate market research and present adjustments to recruitment strategy to meet international markets and competitive conditions.
· Work closely with marketing to ensure that a toolbox of assets is available each year for the PA’s, agents and partners to access readily.
· Monitor competitor products, sales and marketing activities.
· Oversee weekly and monthly meetings (agenda and minutes), which may substitute for Director weekly reports.
· Manage all recruitment reports, communications and updates on the iDrive for centralized storage and access.
· Review and analyze sales performances against quotas and plans to determine effectiveness and suggest any adjustments with thoughtful memos presented to management.
· Contribute to Management Group, as key member, assessing effectiveness of all departments and their contribution to the success of the company.
· Ad hoc projects as needed.
