International Dairy Deli Bakery Association Hiring for Education Team Coordinator Job at Madison, WI Full Time

This Coordinator position reports to the VP of Education. The position is responsible for projects related to Industry Education and trend reviews, yearly trade show planning and execution, member communication, and leader to committees within the Association.

Coordinates Education Dept. promotions with Marketing & Communications Department

Execution of annual association initiative

Manages and develops Industry trainings and certifying exams

Assists in sponsorship acquisition

Works with Trade Show Sponsors to acquire and order products, and to ensure Sponsors are represented at the show

Participates Trade Show Planning committees

Contributes to Category teams as the liaison

Keeps abreast of industry trends, associations, government agencies

Assists in production of annual trends publication

Completes assigned projects on time, with quality to meet objectives and budget fidelity

Contributes to improving department projects and outcomes

Contributes to long-range plans within the Association

Manages the operations and committees within the association

Skills Needed:
Food Service, Deli, Bakery or Grocery Industry Experience is a plus

Brings supportive, optimistic, can-do attitude to department and association projects

Represents association with optimism and professionalism within association committees and the industry

Quantitative:
Time management to complete assigned projects on time with budget fidelity

Ability to attend Trade Show and ensure objectives are met

Strong communication skills both verbally and written

Positive, flexible outlook

B.S. or B.A., or equivalent experience
