International Air & Hospitality Academy Hiring for Director of Admissions Job at Vancouver, WA Full Time

The Director of Admissions (DOA) manages the day-to-day operations of the Admissions Department and is the direct supervisor for all Admissions Representatives (AR). His/her time will focus on daily operations, training, coaching, and mentoring. Additionally, time will be invested in data analysis for proper strategic planning to meet assigned admissions department goals. The Director of Admissions must possess strong leadership, management, and interpersonal skills; as well as the ability to effectively train and coach the admissions team.

Responsible for the overall success of the Admissions Department, the Director of Admissions will ensure that admissions policies and procedures are followed and will align the admissions team for increased retention, student graduation and employment success. This position reports to the President.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Director of Admissions will be responsible, but not limited to, the duties and tasks listed below:

• Adhere strictly to accrediting agency and U.S. Department of Education guidelines for proprietary school admissions.
• Establish an Admissions manual detailing policies, processes, and procedures ensuring accountability of department and consistent use. Continued review and alignment of the manual with best practices, regulatory guidelines, and updated policies.
• Manage the daily operations of the Department of Admissions to meet or exceed admissions departmental goals.
• Provide direct supervision for Admissions Representatives
• Effectively lead, coach, and motivate the admissions department to ensure the departments growth and success.
• Analyze weekly department reports to set strategic plan for admissions department.
• Work collaboratively with Marketing team to attract and enroll new students.
• Work collaboratively with all staff for student retention, graduation, and placement success.
• Communicate goals and the needs of the admissions department to the President.
• Develop and maintain an understanding of the market and all competitive forces.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 10 years minimum combined work experience in full cycle recruiting and/or admissions with the majority focus on education and admissions regulations. Management with strong customer service experience preferred.
• Highly proficient computer skills (MS applications and CRM), experience with Anthology/CampusVue preferred.
• Demonstrated effective analytical skills and goal setting.
• Proven results in achieving company objectives and goals.
• Experience developing effective admissions processes and procedures
