Marketing & Social Media Specialist| Residential Interior Design Firm | Chicago, IL

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced marketing professional to join a boutique interior design firm specializing in turn-key bespoke solutions for residential interior design and renovation. Our client is committed to delivering innovation, precise execution, extraordinary design, and superior customer service to each client.

We seek for our client a creative Marketing & Social Media Specialist to lead social media efforts and assist the CEO. The ideal candidate would be a self-starter, driven and passionate about marketing and interior design. Our client seeks a marketing professional who thrives in a fast-paced, rigorous culture and is immediately comfortable with ambiguity. This candidate should be highly adaptive and able to manage changing priorities and quickly solve problems.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media

• Manage social media platforms: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Houzz, Tiktok
• Lead, edit, create and curate inspiring and engaging digital content

Translate brand voice through content
Develop strategies to maximize online sharing content
Create content calendar and distribution
Collaborate with design team as needed
Attend company and industry events to capture content

Media & Industry Partnerships

• Build relationships with industry partners including media outlets, and real estate brokers to develop business and marketing opportunities, coordinate PR outreach
• Plan and manage editorial content and calendar

Website & Brand Standards

• Develop, manage, and maintain brand standards, internal working documents, collateral, branded gifts, and accessories
• Update and maintain website and project portfolio

Communication

• Create quarterly e-newsletters using an email marketing platform
• Manage and develop ROI marketing analytics
• Handle initial client communication and internal communication

Assisting CEO

• Manage CEO’s calendar
• Organize CEO’s emails
• Manage CEO’s personal social media accounts

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in marketing/social media
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Slides, Canva, Adobe Suite
• Experience using email marketing platform (MailChimp or similar)
• Experience using social media management software (Hootsuite or similar)
• Experience with paid and unpaid tactics to increase social media following across channels
• Graphic design, animation, photo/video experience, a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with Google Analytics
