About the Role:
The role of ECEI Coordinator Allied Health/Educator is responsible for working alongside families with children aged 0 – 6 with developmental delay or disability. Coordinators will work in our Early Support team and assess a child’s needs using evidence-based assessments to make recommendations to assist children and families in achieving their goals.
Eligible children receive Early Supports from Intereach, and Coordinators use their skills and knowledge to implement best practice early intervention strategies in a strength-based, family-centred approach.
An important part of this role is developing plans to assist children in their natural environments such as early education, home and the community; Coordinators work alongside the family to increase their support networks and follow the child’s journey tailoring the plan ongoing.
In this role, you will also use your skills to build long-lasting connections with community and mainstream organisations; you will support the community to create opportunities for greater social and economic participation of people with disability and children with developmental delay, their families, and carers. Coordinators build connections with mainstream services, supporting them to be more inclusive and accessible for people with disability and children with developmental delay, their families, and carers.
This position is full time – 38hrs per week and can be based in Shepparton or Seymour.
This position is classified under the Health Professionals and Support Services Award with an annual salary starting at $78,000 + Superannuation + Salary Packaging.
Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination or medical contraindication/exemption certificate will be required for this role.

The successful candidate will have qualifications in Early Childhood, Primary Teaching or Allied Health Professional (Occupational Therapist, Psychologist, Physiotherapist, Social Work, Speech Pathologist or Developmental Educator). Experience in supporting children and their families through a family-centred and capacity building approach, and a strong commitment to upholding the core values of Intereach.
