Essential Functions for the Part-Time School Wellness Teacher Include:

• Responsible for providing teens with the information to make responsible, informed decisions about their sexuality.
• Attend monthly meetings and stay informed of policy changes.
• Ensure the schools and communities are aware of the mission of this program. Will work with school and various organizations on multiple programs.
• Will work with the Board on project planning and keep the Board updated on various projects.
• Provide assistance for on-going and special projects including collecting data, and other assignments under limited supervision.

Minimum Required Qualifications for the School Wellness Teacher Include:

• College degree preferred with education and/or experience in a related field.
• Experience working with adolescents is preferred.
• Skilled at engaging and building relationships.
• Must have a professional and friendly demeanor.
• Must be able to travel and have access to a car, auto insurance and valid driver’s license.
