Intensive Specialty Hospital is a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) hospital. We provide cardiopulmonary care, ventilator and respiratory care, complex wound care, rehabilitation therapies, addiction medicine program, geriatric psychiatry program, multidisciplinary pain program, and outpatient counseling program. With four locations in Shreveport and Bossier City, we will be the largest provider of LTAC services in Northwest Louisiana.

The Certified Nursing Assistant provides basic care to patients and assist them with daily activities such as bathing, dressing etc. The CNA will measure and record patient vital signs and record and communicate all issues to medical staff.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

• One to two years nursing assistant experience, LTAC preferred

• Successful completion of certification program for nursing assistants

• Compassionate, interpersonal skills and enjoy helping others

Certifications required:

• CNA Certification

• BLS Certification
