We are recruiting for ICU/PICU nurses for home care with a minimum of two years ICU/PICU experience for shifts in Oakleigh.

The client(young female) we are recruiting for is having a tracheostomy and is therefore requiring 24/7 ICU nurses. Our nursing staff is supported with a team of support workers 24/7. We are looking for ICU nursing staff willing to commit to a minimum of two shifts a week to bring stability and consistency to the client!

INTENSIVE CARE AT HOME is therefore in a position to employ a team with hundreds of years ICU/PICU experience, giving us the ability to look after more and more long-term ICU/PICU Patients at home, which has been formerly unheard of until 2014 in Australia.

Who you are

If you have a minimum of two years ICU/PICU experience and a critical care certificate(or equivalent) and you want to join a dynamic and progressive team of forward thinking ICU/PICU nurses and you think you have what it takes to provide our clients with the quality of life/quality of end of life at home instead of intensive care you have come to the right place.

Supported by a clinical liaison nurse/ educator and a team of senior ICU/PICU nurses with hundreds of years ICU/PICU experience combined, we are delighted to hear from you if you have

· A minimum of two years ICU/PICU experience

· Post-graduate critical care certificate or equivalent

· A “can-do” attitude

· High level of self-awareness

· Can work independently and as part of a team

· Excellent clinical judgement

· Excellent communication skills
