INTENSIVE BEHAVIOR MANAGEMENT TRAINING Hiring for Behavior Interventionist at Los Angeles, CA Full Time

Job Description:

• Implement evidenced based ABA treatment programs specifically designed for students with identified special needs in the school and home setting
• Ensure integrity of program implementation by following the behavior plan, utilizing scripts, prompting and reinforcement as required, collecting accurate data and providing daily documentation
• Provide ongoing documentation and accurate feedback to all IBIC case manager/supervisor within required deadlines
• Attend monthly team meetings and complete mandatory trainings
• Able to exercise professionalism, confidentiality and discretion pertaining all aspects of the work environment
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor
• A bachelor’s degree in: Child Development, Special Education, Education, Clinical Psychology, Psychology or a related field (required) with educational coursework completed in the areas of Behavior Analysis is preferred
• Documented experience assisting children with special needs
• Prior work experience with provision of ABA, positive behavior supports and crisis intervention for students with emotional disabilities in the school setting is preferred
• An ability to work with an ethnically, linguistically, culturally, and economically diverse populations
• Must be a licensed driver with access to a reliable vehicle with personal liability insurance
• Must be Technologically proficient
• Must be able to pass the individual units of the competency based training program
• Bilingual, in Spanish, is an asset

Work hours:

• Full-time and Part-time opportunities are now available
• Assignments are school based usually from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm
• Several openings in school settings within the Los Angeles Unified School District area
