As a Software Engineer you will be responsible for but not limited to:
Designs, develops, tests, and debugs software tools, flows, design components, and/or methodologies used in design automation and by teams in the design of hardware products or process design.
You are also responsible for:
Capturing user stories/requirements
Writing both functional and test code
Automating build and deployment, and/or performing unit, integration
End-to-end testing of the software tools
Strong customer orientation, results orientation and sense-of-urgency
Team player with excellent communication skills
This position is hybrid at the Hillsboro OR, Folsom, CA or Santa Clara, CA site during the 20-week Returnship program.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications
The candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science, or a related field with 2+ years experience in:
Python
Capturing user stories/requirements
Writing both functional and test code
Automating build and deployment, and/or performing unit, integration
End-to-end testing of the software tools
Candidates must have been out of the workforce for at least 2 years
This position is not eligible for Intel Immigration sponsorship.

Object oriented (C++, Java)
Development skills in modern databases

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
