The EMEA Sales and Marketing Finance team is looking to hire a Finance Analyst who can work with and bring valuable data and insights to business partners hence influencing them to make the right business decisions. As such, the successful candidate requires proficiency and working knowledge of finance, accounting, business and risk management concepts, and business analysis.
Responsibilities
Analysis of revenue trends and forecasts and provides variance explanations to senior Finance management
Analysis of financial, business, customer, and market information and trends
Develops recommendations in support of influencing business decisions
Evaluates cost and return on investment decisions
Develops insightful management reporting and automated dashboards
Independently evaluates accounting and reporting, and recommends solutions to ensure the integrity of external and internal reporting
Plans, performs, and schedules own work with general management direction.
Assignments are delivered in the form of overall goals and expected results.
Qualifications
A strong bachelor’s degree (2:1 or above) in a relevant discipline (including, but not limited to Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Business)
Experience in financial modeling and analysis in the use of Microsoft Office and PowerBI tools
Good problem-solving skills
Business partnership and teamwork – ability to collaborate with both local and worldwide teams
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to adapt to changing environment
Influencing skills
Nice to have Qualifications
Experience effectively partnering with business and operational stakeholders
Ability to work in an unstructured environment, navigate ambiguity, manage multiple assignments simultaneously, and provide clarity and structure
Experience using Python for data analysis
