PDK team Designs, develops, tests, and debugs software tools, flows, PDK design components, and/or methodologies used in design automation and by teams in the design of hardware products, process design, or manufacturing.
As a PDK Physical Verification Engineer, your job responsibilities will be but not limited to:
Focuses on physical verification runset development.
Capturing user stories/requirements.
Writing both functional and test code.
Automating build and deployment.
Performing unit, integration, and end to end testing of the software tools.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidate must possess a BS degree with 3+ years of experience or an MS degree with 2+ years of experience or a PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and related fields.
3+ years of semiconductor industry experience in the following areas:
DRC/LVS runsets and EDA tools (Synopsys ICV, Siemens/Mentor Calibre or Cadence Pegasus, and simulation tools).
Unix/Linux operating system.
At least one of the following: C++, Python, Perl, TCL.
At least one of the following: VLSI design process, reliability verification, ESD concepts, standard cell library, or memory architectures.
Preferred Qualifications
1+ years of experience/knowledge in the following:
Knowledge in semiconductor device physics, models, parasitic extraction, and technology scaling.
Experience with working in software repository management tools like Git.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $119,130.00-$178,690.00
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
