Intel Hiring for College Undergraduate/ Software Development Engineer Job at Austin, TX Full Time

This position is with the Device Development Group (DDG) in Austin, TX. The DDG Atom team is chartered with designing the latest Intel processors using the most advanced and innovative process technologies.

In this role responsibilities include, although not limited to:

• Develops pre-Silicon functional validation tests to verify system will meet design requirements

• Creates test plans for RTL validation, defining and running system simulation models, and finding and implementing corrective measures for failing RTL tests

• Analyzes and uses results to modify testing

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.

Minimum Requirements:

Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering and 3+ months of experience with:

• C++ or equivalent object-oriented language

• Computer architecture and assembly language

• Version control software (GIT, Subversion), IDE tools (Visual Studio), and code review flows (Azure, GitHub)

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with:

• Scripting in Perl/Python

• Regression environments

• ASM
