Job Description
We have a great opportunity for a Cloud Software Architect.
Responsibilities for this role include:
- Architects solutions for the cloud networking from the datacenter physical to SDN layers
- Performs research and design solutions to enable AI/ML and HPC workloads at cloud scales
- Engages with major customers/partners to understand their use cases, participates in open source and standardization industry work to influence the emerging technologies and standards
- Interacts with technologists and product managers across Intel to facilitate the advanced technologies adoption for the cloud infrastructure and services
- Makes high level design choices focused on manageability, scalability, resiliency, and security
- Contributes code to the SDN software (control and/or data planes) and collaborates with other cloud software development and DevOps teams

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s with 10+ years or Master’s degree with 8+ years OR 15+ years of relevant software development experience
- 10+ years architecting and implementing large-scale distributed software solutions
- Experience in implementing switch-based SDN solutions for private or public clouds, enterprise, telco
- Expert knowledge of datacenter networking: switching, routing equipment (Cisco, Arista, Juniper) and protocols
- Hands-on experience in datacenter networking management, automation and monitoring
- Experience in designing and building network solutions for large scale environments for HPC, AI/ML workloads
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes networking
- Experience in open source SDN solutions – OVS, OVN
- Experience with SmartNICs programming

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:$187,370.00-$299,710.00
