Position Overview:

Integro is currently looking for a Quality Control Technician for our Maple, ON location. This is a full-time salaried position and the incumbent will report directly to the Quality Control Manager.

The Quality Control Technician’s job description will include, but not limited to the following responsibilities:

• Product inspection throughout the manufacturing process with respect to Approved Drawings and Project Specifications;
• Collect relevant information for Root Cause Analysis;
• Report, Record and Communicate all non-conforming items;
• Initiate NCR reports, follow up on Corrective and Preventative action;
• Maintain NCR Log;
• Maintain Corrective Action Log;
• Perform Final Inspection, green tag product signing off on compliance;
• Review Data collected for completeness, accuracy and inconsistencies;
• Report Quality concerns to Quality Supervisor, Project Manager, Department Supervisor, Floor Personnel and Production Team as required; and
• Any other tasks assigned.

*Intermediate Level
*

• Intermediate level position for incumbents wishing to pursue a career in Quality Control/Quality Assurance;
• Strong mathematical, analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Familiar with ASTM Standards;
• Proficient in Outlook and Microsoft Office specifically Excel;
• Strong level of comfort using electronic measuring instruments and record readings;
• Ability to use and read a tape measure and vernier calipers in both Metric and Imperial;
• Good understanding of Quarantine, Rework and Disposition Protocols;
• Ability to train operators to the Quality aspect of work instruction; and
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma related to Quality

Years of Experience

• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a Quality Control role, preferably, in a manufacturing environment

Working Conditions

• On site work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks that require knowledge of adherences to basic safety procedures and precautions;
• Promote health and safety;
• Work environment requires PPE, following H&S standards;
• Full Health and Safety training required (working at heights, WHMIS); and
• Flexible to work overtime as required.
