The Position
The role of Purchasing Officer reports to the Head of Finance and will be a part of a friendly finance team, you will provide business and operational support and build effective partnerships to drive compliance and process efficiency.

• Full time – 12 Month fixed term contract
• Competitive salary + superannuation + salary packaging (up to $15,900 tax free)

You will use your skills and experience to meet organisational timeframes for completion of tasks in a fast-paced environment such as;

• Creating purchasing requisitions and supporting documents
• Liaising with Business Units to verify completion of jobs and alert or update purchase orders
• Monitoring and tracking compliance with organisational policy and procedure
• Ensure accurate data

Required skills, experience, and credentials

• Extensive experience in a fast paced, high volume team environment
• Ability to manage competing priorities with a flexible and positive approach
• High level of attention to detail
• Exceptional customer service skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to providing the best service to our customers.
• Experience using technology including accounting systems and packages, email, and internet.
