Marketing Manager Job Description

Role Overview:

The Marketing Manager is responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient execution of all marketing activities associated with assigned initiatives. Provides general marketing project coordination, utilizing project management software to ensure highly effective communication and on-time execution of initiatives within a cross-functional working environment. The Marketing Manager is also responsible for developing programs and strategies to grow the consumer base of IMS marketing, education and content across all marketing and education channels.

Essential Duties:

• Prepare marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives; planning and organizing promotional presentations; and updating calendars
• Build dental professional insights to develop strategies for growing the consumer base of IMS marketing channels / content, including but not limited to:
• Dental Product Shopper magazine
• www.Dentalproductshopper.com
• Dental Product Shopper opt-in email database
• Dental Learning webinars / live events
• Dental XP education courses

• Assist in the creation, coordination, and management of digital and print promotional assets such as email blasts and digital advertising campaigns
• Facilitate video production through management of internal and external videographers
• Manage company social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn)
• Copywriting as needed

Related Duties:

• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in marketing; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 1-3 years’ experience, preferably in a marketing role
• Dental industry experience is a plus

Training, Skills and Experience:

• Excellent communication skills with a high attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and interact across all levels of the organization
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Working knowledge of customer insight generation
• Ideal candidate has experience building and executing customer research projects.

• Strong ability to respond to changing priorities, manage multiple projects and problem solve
• Ability to coordinate and implement changes in existing methods and procedures
• Ability to cultivate a customer-centric culture
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office platforms, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook
