Integra Vascular Hiring for Medical Assistant at Huntington, NY Full Time

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a liaison between physicians and patients
• Conduct patient triage
• Document in Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
• Must be comfortable working in the field as well as Surgical Centers
• Prepare patients for procedures
• Assist physicians with examinations and procedures
• Assist with patient scheduling as needed
• Conduct care plan/treatment plan tracking
• Manage/maintain equipment and supply inventory
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor or direct management

Qualifications:

• Basic Life Support Certification required
• Active Certified Medical Assistant License
• Excellent assessment skills, ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Work independently and effectively
• Proficiency in computer skills
• PACS and EMR experience preferred
• Committed to professional growth and learning
• Clean driving record
• Travel required
• Not listed on the OIG exclusion list

License/Certification:

• Medical Assistant Certification
• BLS Certification
• Driver’s License
