About the role

The project control office will play an important role in ensuring that governance processes related to project and departmental financial management are followed and well executed.

You will work very closely with Project Managers and/or Line Managers to help with project resource capacity planning, monitoring and reporting, Clarity project setup and maintenance, as well as managing project files and documentation to support this aspect.

The PCO will also closely collaborate with IT Finance and other key stakeholders, as well as master, communicate and ensure the efficient application of the governance processes and procedures established by IT Finance and PMO.

Key Job Accountabilities:
Assisting multiple projects managers with project planning, resource and financial forecasts

Coordinating activities related to the implementation and control of projects (project status, time sheets, plans follow-up).

Director support – preparing reports for various management meetings; producing indicators and proactively monitor budget, schedules and project resources (earned value, burn rate, actuals).

Supporting project managers in resource capacity planning and tracking

Tracking and posting of purchase orders as well as facilitating the charge back process for cloud costs

Supporting project managers and program managers in their work on management committees (steering committee, Directorate, status meeting, etc).

Qualifications

University Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or related field preferred

Minimum 5 years of project, budget and forecasting related experience

Strong knowledge of system development lifecycle

Strong working knowledge of MS Excel,

Knowledge of Clarity PPM, SharePoint, Open Workbench

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Effective time management and prioritization skills

Preference for candidate with experience in Insurance Industry or other financial institution
