Medical Education Aggregate Spend Specialist
This job allows remote work now, but if needed to work on-site, client is mandating all on-site workers be vaccinated unless a medical/religious exemption is granted by the client.

SUMMARY
The role will work closely with the Aggregate Spend department and the Medical Education Events teams on the Aggregate Spend data collection, report generation, records retention, and internal audits to ensure that all Sunshine Law reporting is done on a timely basis and in compliance with all corporate guidelines. This role will use analytics and decision making of spend allocation for CMS reporting. The role will also develop procedures in collaboration with the Finance Aggregate Spend team to determine reporting requirements and tracking standards. This role is also responsible for training on HCP Sunshine Updates for reporting of HCP spend.
Responsibilities:

• Review, Audit, and validate HCP spend data related to Medical Education training (specifically Americas), submit final reports by all applicable deadlines.
• Possess knowledge and application experience in CMS Open Payments reporting procedures to promote transparent and accountable relationships with HCPs that participate in programs offered by the client with transfer of value (as consultants, participants, HCO grantees).
• Ensure appropriate records management in collaboration with meeting and events stakeholders for ease of access to financial reporting representatives and participate in internal audits and data review to ensure accuracy of Sunshine Law reports.
• Maintain high level of financial data integrity with CVENT for all stakeholders to ensure local rules, laws, and policies are upheld. Serve as final budget reviewer after programs reconciliation prior to submission for Aggregate Spend transparency program review
• Work with cross-functional stakeholders in Medical Education, Finance, Compliance, GBS to carry out specific scope of work defined above
• Compile data and assist with the creation of departmental dashboards to include number of health care professionals trained and post course financial review for cost per HCP trained.
• Assist with support of Medical Education training programs, as requested and as bandwidth allows

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Preferred in the areas of Finance, Accounting, Business, Health Care Administration, or Data Analysis
• Experience: 3-5 years of data entry using Excel system format – preferably with finance, accounting, and data analyst emphasis.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Cvent Certification strongly preferred
