We are actively looking for a Full Stack Web Developer to join our BioRails product team, which is a workflow driven data management platform designed in house, solely focusing on the needs of scientists.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Full Stack Web Developer to test themselves in a complex enterprise environment, with the aim of scaling up our code, improving the usability and UI, and getting BioRails ready for large scale up via the cloud. We will need you to be enthusiastic about learning new code, specifically Ruby on Rails.

Responsibilities include;

• Carry out epic level design work
• Build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable application features
• Integration of BioRails with our customers other software solutions
• Identify bugs and devise solutions to these problems
• Help maintain code quality
• Write and maintain unit tests
• Eager to help mentor other members of staff
• Adherence to agreed programming standards and guidelines.

Key Skills required;

• Proven skillset in web development (CSS, HTML, JavaScript)
• Good working knowledge of object-orientated design principles
• Able to write clear documentation for designs and contribute to discussions on software design
• Exposure working in a Pharma, Life Science, Scientific domain.
