Overview

An amazing, yet rare, opportunity currently exists for an assistant to join our dynamic team, in the role of Junior Operations Assistant (JOA). This role will afford you the opportunity to broaden and learn new skills, and take on new challenges, working on a daily basis to directly support our senior corporate travel agents in coordinating corporate travel arrangements. In your role of JOA, you will work under the direction of the Operations Team Leader (OTL) to service corporations and their travellers in this fast paced, detail oriented support role.

This full time, permanent position will see you earn a competitive salary, along with a full benefits package and travel perks. You will be provided with all the necessary tools to perform your duties successfully, including Sabre GDS system, and you will work remotely from the comfort of your own home. This role is structured on a 40hr working week based on a 9am to 5:30pm work day, Monday- Friday.

Operations Requirements

• Prepare car rental quotes and confirmations
• Research pricing and confirm hotel and accommodation arrangements
• Maintain database of clients and ensure records are kept accurately up to date
• Carry out any administrative related tasks required by the Operations team
• Maintain effective and efficient communication with the accounting department
• Update and maintain Operations administrative systems as needed
• Update and manage airline credit system
• Attend and complete training where required
• Provide support to clients over the phone and via email
• Maintain excellent client relationships and ensure effective client communication
• Have access to a remote office in a quiet space with reliable internet

Team Requirements

• Attend a monthly one-on-one with your OTL
• Work towards meeting and exceeding KPI’s as agreed upon with your OTL
• Attend staff meetings, retreats, training, events, as required

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills to be considered for the position:

• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
• Attention to detail and problem solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Strong customer service focused experience
• Administrative and/or Operations Assistant experience is also an asset
