Are you an unqualified English teacher or an English tutor looking for a teaching Pathway? Can you make a positive impact teaching secondary pupils with nurturing needs and challenging behaviours?

Inspire Education is working with a specialist SEMH school in Tunbridge Wells, Kent that requires a full-time unqualified English Teacher that can teach GCSE English lessons to pupils with nurturing and challenging behaviours (SEMH). Students work in small class sizes of 8 and teachers are supported by a full-time teaching assistant.

The school is looking for a creative, confident and resilient English teacher that can teach English effectively at GCSE level is confident with behaviour management. Previous experience of teaching English in schools or working with young people with challenging behaviours is desirable, however is not essential. Additional SEMH training and CPD will be provided by the school. There is good public transport links and secure parking at the school.

Suitable Unqualified English Teacher candidates:

· Unqualified English Teacher with experience in GCSE English. Experienced English Tutors will be considered. (will ideally have previous experience working with challenging behaviours in SEND, SEMH or PRU schools).

· Will be confident, creative, flexible, proactive, resilient, patient and nurturing in their approach.

· Will be able to manage behaviour effectively and work well with the class TA.

· Can work Monday to Friday (8.30am – 3.30pm)
