Inspiration Academy Hiring for Middle School Science Teacher at Bradenton, FL Full Time

Inspiration Academy is located in warm, sunny Florida just off the Gulf of Mexico. We are a fundamental Private Christian high school interviewing for a Middle School Science Teacher who views the world from a biblical perspective. We seek a candidate who shares our creationist view of the origin of life. A highly qualified candidate will have classroom and lab experience. Ability to teach STEM classes is a plus but not necessary.

Our student-centered approach allows learners to be active participants in constructing knowledge. Class sizes average a 10:1 student/teacher ratio. Candidates should be skilled at differentiating instruction, so each student is appropriately challenged. We are looking for a teacher who has a growth mindset and will hold students to a high standard. Candidates should be familiar with inquiry-based learning that emphasizes higher order thinking skills.

Technology is used extensively in the classroom with our curriculum and student projects. Candidates must be inspiring and innovative in the classroom and be comfortable using a variety of technology platforms including Microsoft and PowerSchool. Candidates must also have an understanding of creating curriculum and working collaboratively with others and planning cross-curricular units and projects.

In addition, we use a Christian mentorship approach to earn the right to speak life into our students. Looking for Christian candidates walking out their faith. They should have a love of Christ, children, and education.

Job Qualifications: _ Bachelor’s degree in science is a minimum requirement. Master’s degree and a minimum of 3 years teaching experience is preferred.

Private school certification through our accreditation agency is required.
