The HR People & Capability Directorate work with the business to deliver people focused solutions, which are efficient, timely and effective.
Your Team
The HR Operations Team provides expert advice and services to enable the effective delivery of the HR function which in turn enables our people to deliver their business objectives. Sitting within the HR Operations Team, your role will be with the newly formed HR Dispute Resolution & Investigation Team, who will carry out HR investigations and lead on wider work within the field of dispute resolution. Your team will also work closely with the Local Manager Advice Team (“LMAT”), which is a small close knit and supportive team of HR complex casework advisors.
Job description
This is an exciting role undertaking investigations of disciplinary, grievance and employee complaints of varying complexity, in line with Civil Service policies and procedures. The successful candidate will also work closely with HR colleagues and other team members within the Insolvency Service, assisting the business with internal investigations. These may include internal fraud and health and safety issues.

You will be responsible for managing the investigatory process from end to end, including attending both internal and employment tribunal hearings and collating high-quality reports for decision makers. This role will also enable you to contribute to the wider business through upskilling managers on HR investigations and close partnership with colleagues on dispute resolution projects across the Insolvency Service.
