Insights Hiring for Software Tester Job at Dundee, Scotland Full Time

The company is currently working on delivering a greenfield project and are looking to expand the team. You’ll be part of a cross functional team working closely with product owners and engineers to envisage and build exciting products which will play a significant role in the future of the company. Working in an agile methodology, you’ll join one of our development squads who are closely collaborating in iteratively delivering features.

As a Software Tester at Insights you will be testing web and mobile applications to support new functionality in our customer facing software technology stack. You will work in a highly collaborative agile development environment.

Successful candidates for the Software Tester role will require knowledge in:

• Automation and exploratory testing experience
• Demonstratable experience with automation testing toolkits, such as Selenium, Cypress (others considered)
• Testing within an agile environment
• Understanding of version control e.g Git
• Multiple device, browser, and platform experience
• Familiarity with programming languages, either JavaScript or Java.
• API testing knowledge
• A passion for delivering high quality user experiences
• Leading the use of the latest technologies to deliver cutting edge software
