Insight Global Hiring for Staff Accountant Job at Remote Full Time

What you’ll do:

• Manage the donor inboxes, communications, and portals to identify supporting documentation detailed donor intentions and match to the bank deposit

• Assist the Manager and Fundraising point of contact with maintaining the SalesForce donor management system

• Prepare & process month-end journals, perform month end closing and reporting activities; manage stakeholders communications for any exceptions, deviations issue resolutions

• Responsible for reconciliation preparation in accordance with internal/external accounting guidelines & SOX requirement from Group level.

• Collaborates with business partners, including accounting authorities/auditors. Supports in managing relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders with the objective of meeting delivery as per the agreed parameters.

• Serves as a Subject Matter Expert for donation operations.

• Actively initiate and participate in improvements to sustain a highly effective and efficient process, and work on areas to standardize processes to optimize investments made in global ERP systems and financial services.

• Ensure adherence to SOX controls and compliance policies and procedures.

• Support in building backup and cross training plans.

• Managing operational delivery of all the internal and external audit requests within the timelines, managing the clear expectations of stakeholder. Raising any blockers

• Exceptional quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills, with specific experience in managing financial information and data. Knowledge of performance calculations and investment reporting is preferred.

• Systems experience

• Proficient in Excel, Word and Presentation and ability to learn SQL

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 – $36.00 per hour
