Role:

Our client is currently seeking Two (2) experienced #100869 Application Helpdesk Analysts (Contract) in Edmonton, AB starting on or around September 2022 for a 6 month contract with possibility of extension at client’s discretion. The work can be done remotely but resource must be available to attend onsite meetings when requested. The ideal candidate will have 4 years’ experience as an Application Helpdesk Analyst supporting multiple web-based applications, providing troubleshooting and excellent customer service, to End Users and stakeholders. Previous utilizing a ticket System (i.e., Remedy, Cherwell, HEAT, etc.) is required. Previous experience (4yrs) with user identity verification processes, maintaining user IDs, and setting permission levels for business applications is required. All candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Mandatory requirements:

• 4 years’ experience supporting and collaborating directly with stakeholders, external (public users) and internal business areas. Ability to co-ordinate and communicate necessary information well to all clients.

• 4 years’ experience with supporting multiple web-based applications simultaneously.

• 4 years’ experience as an Application Help Desk analyst working directly with stakeholders’ assistance troubleshooting, customer service, training, and application support.

• 4 years’ experience working with Microsoft Office Suite of tools.

• 4 years’ experience utilizing Help Desk software such as: BMC Remedy, Cherwell, MS Team Foundation Server, Rational ClearQuest, HEAT

• 4 years’ experience in user identity verification processes, and maintaining users IDs, passwords, and accounts’ permission levels for business applications.

Desirable requirement (Nice to Have):

• 1 year experience supporting web-based systems with knowledge of various internet browsers using multiple devices, including but not limited to: Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari.

• 1 year experience in planning/performing/monitoring User Acceptance testing

• 1 year experience providing end user operational system support, including data collection, data editing, data validation and data conversion within an enterprise system that contains user information.

• 1 year experience in supporting post-secondary education systems and/or systems that support post-secondary education.

• 1 year experience developing, reviewing, and delivering user manuals and training materials.

• 1 year experience documenting user requirements, business processes, and workflows.

• 1 year experience working with MS SharePoint sites

Education (Must Have one of the following combinations):

• Degree Information Technology (IT), Business Management or related discipline & 1-yr Application Help Desk (HD) experience; OR 2-yr diploma & 3-yr HD experience; OR 1-yr certificate & 4-yr HD experience; OR 5yrs HD experience.
