Overview
The Talent Acquisition Manager oversees recruitment processes by partnering with hiring managers, defining roles, developing sourcing strategies, cultivating relationships, facilitating interviews, and supporting selection and offers.
Aligns recruitment practices with Macalester’s values of inclusion and equity.
Responsibilities
Design and implement recruitment strategies that align with the college’s mission.
Actively collaborate with hiring managers to define roles and match sourcing strategies to the unique needs of each opening.
Continually identify and evaluate sources and networking opportunities to attract active and passive candidates, with a particular focus on building sources that attract diverse pools of talent.
Post positions in appropriate outlets; review applicants; support coordination of interviews; interview tools and records;
support offer process; and initiate onboarding processes. Actively communicate with applicants, hiring managers and other key contacts throughout the recruitment process.
Collaborate with Compensation & Benefits Manager to ensure offers are equitable.
Manage the relationship with search firms.
Design and implement practices, policies and tools that will advance Macalester’s recruitment efforts to attract and retain a diverse workforce.
Infuse values of inclusion and equity into the recruitment process. Partner with campus stakeholders to implement practices.
Create documentation on processes.
Participate as an active member of the HR Team, supporting shared goals and priorities. Provide back-up support to other team members.

Qualifications
5-8 years of talent acquisition experience, with experience recruiting all levels of positions, including operational, administrative, technical, professional and leadership roles.
Must have experience with full cycle recruiting.
Successful track record applying inclusive and equity-minded recruitment practices that result in diverse talent pools.
Knowledge of and experience applying employment laws and regulations, including immigration, DOL and EEOC.
Ability to develop recruitment processes that match the unique needs of each search process. Independent problem solving.
Ability to create and evolve processes and policy for optimal efficiency, accuracy and positive outcomes.
Experience with applicant tracking systems. iCIMS experience preferred.
Experience with recruitment tools, including Indeed and LinkedIn, Google suite for e-mail, calendar, presentations, MS Excel and Powerpoint.
Compensation :
The annual salary for this position is $83,000-$90,000, depending on experience.
