During your journey as an INPEX Graduate you will experience a number of different roles and challenges. You will “rotate” through different teams and the focus of your work will change – short term / long term problem solving and project-based activities across the breadth of our operations. Throughout the program, you will be guided and supported by peers and leaders within your discipline as well as the wider business.

About the Role:
INPEX is currently looking for a Finance Graduate to join our Finance team. This position will be offered on an initial two-year max term Basis.

Based out of our Perth office, some of the core responsibilities and rotations will include:

You will work closely with various Finance personnel as a member of the Management Accounting team giving you broad exposure to the streams of finance

Under the guidance of the Lead Management Accountant: you will help deliver reporting outputs for both internal and external stakeholders.

Other duties will include providing support for transactional outputs, support process changes, developing broader knowledge of accounting and tax outcomes while building positive relationships with all stakeholders. This will be aided through mentoring from the team.

Skills & experience:
Motivated, proactive and have an interest in the energy, specifically the oil and gas, industry.

Students who have completed the final year of their Bachelor’s degree, major in Accounting

Intending to complete an IFRS-based professional accounting qualification (CPA/CA/CIMA or similar internationally recognised qualification).

Strong academic record with great written and verbal communication skills.

A collaborative personality who thrives working in a team.

Excellent grammar, written and verbal communication skills.

To be eligible, you will also need to demonstrate that:
You are an Australian/New Zealand citizen or have Australian permanent residency

You are currently or willing to reside in Perth
