Our client has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and well-educated individual to join their highly corporate and reputable organisation as an Accounts/Finance Assistant.
The successful candidate with play a fundamental role with supporting the GB and IE businesses through providing financial accounting expertise. Key day to day responsibilities will include controlling of the financial accounts, accounting for our growing property portfolio, making payments to suppliers, reconciling our regional and national bank accounts, and managing overseas intergroup transactions.
You will need to be a dynamic team player, always striving to improve and wanting to join a really important part of the business.

Key Responsibilities:
The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for the following within the Banking, Property and Intercompany Team:
· Produces month end controls
· Carries out Year End procedures following specified guidelines
· Prepares Year End appendices and information for Auditors
· Monitors the department inbox
· Provides cover for Regional and National areas within the Banking, Property and Intercompany Team
Essential/Desirable
Educational qualifications:
· Accounting qualification and/or Accounting Experience
· AAT Level 4
Employment experience required:
· Use of SAP
· Experience of month end reconciliations
Key areas of expertise:
· SAP
· IFRS Accounting
