Responsibilities:

• Efficiently schedule and dispatch Box Truck and Hotshot drivers to ensure timely pick-ups and deliveries.
• Maintain open lines of communication with drivers, customers, and internal team members to coordinate operations effectively.
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide exceptional customer service.
• Utilize dispatching software and other relevant tools to track shipments, update documentation, and optimize routes.
• Collaborate with the operations team to maximize efficiency, minimize costs, and improve overall performance.
• Provide drivers with the necessary information, instructions, and support to facilitate successful deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies throughout the dispatching process.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to enhance dispatching operations.

Requirements:

• Fluency in English and Spanish (verbal and written) is essential.
• Proven experience as a dispatcher in the trucking or logistics industry, specifically with Box Trucks and Hotshot deliveries, is required.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with drivers and customers.
• Proficiency in using dispatching software and other relevant computer applications.
• Sound knowledge of trucking regulations, routes, and geographical areas.
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
