Background Information :

Innovative Defense Technologies (IDT), provider of automated software testing, data analysis, and cybersecurity solutions for complex, mission-critical systems in the US Department of Defense (DOD), is seeking an energetic, highly-motivated Talent Acquisition Coordinator to be based in our Arlington, VA office.

Overview :

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will work as part of the Talent Acquisition team on all aspects of the recruiting life-cycle.

This individual will play a critical role in IDT’s growth and long-term success. The Coordinator will be part of a team that is dedicated to hiring the best talent quickly, maintaining our culture, and creating a positive candidate and employee experience.

The ideal candidate will have a curiosity and interest in recruiting and / or human resources, and previous experience in administrative support.

IDT is seeking an energetic and positive candidate with a strong sense of urgency, who is capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

The Coordinator will also have the opportunity to contribute to monthly orientation activities to assist with onboarding new hires.

All applicants must be able to obtain / maintain an active U.S. Security Clearance.

Responsibilities include :

• Provide operational and administrative support for open positions across multiple offices
• Post job descriptions on our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and to LinkedIn
• Schedule candidate interviews with recruiters and hiring managers
• Collect and file important paperwork from candidates throughout the recruitment process
• Conduct candidate reference checks
• Update and maintain Talent Acquisition documents on SharePoint
• Assist with I-9 collection / processing
• Assist with scheduling internal HR meetings
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Required Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s Degree is required. BA in Human Resources is preferred.
• Less than 2 years administrative experience. 2 years of relevant recruitment / human resources experience is preferred.
• Curiosity and interest in recruiting and / or human resources

Required Skills and Competencies :

• High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Customer Service Orientation – passion for upholding a high level of service with demonstrated responsiveness and flexibility
• Communication – excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Organization – ability to accomplish tasks in an organized, timely fashion; highly detail-oriented
• Prioritization & urgency – ability to handle multiple competing priorities and follow-through on tasks
• Proactivity – take initiative to reduce bottlenecks and make suggestions for improvement
• Confidentiality – handle tasks and sensitive documents & information with highest confidentiality

Preferred Skills :

• Previous experience in talent acquisition / recruiting
• Familiarity with HRIS
• Familiarity with SharePoint
• SHRM Certification or Membership
