Innovate Phytoceuticals Hiring for Regulatory Associate at Kelowna, BC Full Time

Innovate Phytoceuticals is a licensed analytical testing, R&D, small batch manufacturing and regulatory consulting company. The localized and streamlined services offered by the Company are invaluable to a number of industries including, but not limited to: environmental & agriculture, natural health & cosmetics, foods, meat & dairy, oceans & fisheries, pet/veterinary, pest control, controlled drugs & substances and cannabis.

Innovate has completed construction of its 10,000 sq. ft. facility located in Kelowna, British Columbia. This facility was designed in compliance with the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 17025 & 9001 guidelines, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Good Production Practices (GPP), and Biosafety Level Class 2 (BSL-2).

We are looking for a Regulatory Associate to join our growing team. The Regulatory Associate plays an important role in the compliance division and can be responsible for several projects covering a number of different regulatory streams. The primary objective of the regulatory associate is to ensure that client products and sites are compliant with Health Canada and other regulatory bodies. Other duties include safety and efficacy research, product classification, research & development and technical writing.

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare new product applications, renewals and amendments to Health Canada (NHPs, cosmetics and cannabis)
• Review formulations and labelling for Canada and the U.S. to ensure regulatory compliance
• Ensure that all client applications are maintained and are accurate (Site License, Drug Establishment License etc.)
• Contribute to research projects
• Conduct literature reviews

Qualifications:

• Degree in Life Sciences or a related science considered an asset (or are currently enrolled in a life sciences program)
• Team player, able to multi-task under tight deadlines and work with minimal supervision
• Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to interact with clients, co-workers, and key stakeholders
• Excellent organization, time management and written/verbal communication skills
• Excellent computer skills
• Creative problem solving and issue resolution skills
• Experience in Regulatory Affairs/Pharmaceutical/NHP/Quality Assurance is considered an asset
