Inn On The Lake is Looking For Housekeeping Supervisor at Fall River, NS Full Time

The Housekeeping Supervisor is a working management role who plans, organizes, supervises, inspects and motivates to achieve the highest standard of cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be highly organized and have an eye for attention to detail
• Have the ability to stand, walk, kneel, and bend for extended periods of time
• Be flexible. Must be willing to work a variety of hours, including days as well as weekends and holidays based on business needs

Job Summary:

• Oversee the operations of housekeeping and laundry department
• Assign duties to team members
• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, etc after being cleaned by Housekeeping staff and Porters to ensure quality standards.
• Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with the Front Desk
• Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures
• Identify/ any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
• Support team to reach common goals
• Ensure high morale and productivity levels through effecting communication, training and coaching of staff
• Maintains inventory of amenities, chemicals and other supplies to ensure items are in stock
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by management

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $17.00 per hour
