HR & TALENT GENERALIST

YOUR OPPORTUNITY

As an integral part of our experience improvement culture, the work of the Global HR Shared Services team is key to elevating the employee experience. With passion and commitment, this team supports and enables talent lifecycle transactions for the HR team and the business, providing a consistently great internal customer experience and ensuring excellence in execution, while meeting all policy and compliance requirements. The Shared Services Team also includes responsibility for continuous improvement – proactively optimising systems, processes and data beyond just basic business requirements to make the talent lifecycle transactions more effective.

You will interact daily with local leadership and be part of the Global HR team while providing HR generalist and talent recruitment support. We encourage you to think broadly, to communicate clearly, to help problem solve, and to effectively partner across many teams. You are easily adaptable to dynamic schedules and priorities, proactively addressing needs as they arise while displaying a high degree of integrity and ethics.

This position will be reporting to our Sydney office location.

WHO YOU ARE

• University Degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent experience
• 2-5 years of Talent Acquisition/Talent Management experience
• Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
• Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs)
• Strong technical skills (ability to gain a deep understanding of HRIS and payroll systems, as well as strong experience using excel and Google Suite)
• You are able to create, build and manipulate data and reports (analytically minded)
• Excellent communication & organisational skills (verbal and written, customer-centric mindset)
• Experience working as a member of a global team with an international presence is a plus!
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive situations with discretion

WHAT YOU’LL DO

HR Generalist- 50%

• General administration and HR coordination
• Answer all internal and external HR-related queries and requests
• Maintain and update employee records (in our HRIS & other platforms)
• Involved with Payroll, Benefits and Immigration related matters
• Coordinate and facilitate New Employee Orientation for all new hires in the APAC region
• Participate in full onboarding/offboarding processes

Talent Acquisition – 50%

• Manage the full recruitment and selection life cycle across a variety of roles
• Foster long-term relationships with potential and existing candidates
• Source and attract qualified active and passive talent from diverse sources
• Stay active on current job boards, social networks, and platforms to find talent
• Design job descriptions and interview questions
• Facilitate and ensure a positive candidate experience!
• Display a warm, personable, empathetic approach in all interactions
