What does being a Group Finance Analyst involve?

As the Group Finance Analyst, you will provide assistance to the Group Finance Function in a number of different ways, this includes but is not limited to managing the fixed asset process, financial reporting & developing frameworks! You’ll also partner with various other teams such as Procurement to ensure the management and control of reference data & reporting systems.

Further duties:

• Provide support in relation to other external reporting requirements for the Audit and corporation tax as they arise and fall due.
• Work within a framework of financial controllership and reporting, ensuring that company policies and procedures are followed and reporting timeframes are adhered to.
• Regular monthly postings and reconciliation of central costs. Raise & receipt group finance PO’s.
• To raise intercompany invoices and monthly reconciliation of intercompany trade debtors and creditors.
• Maintain and reconcile a number of key balance sheet accounts.
• Provide other taxation, compliance and statutory accounts support.

Key Skills & Experience:

• High standard of written, verbal and electronic communication skills
• Proven ability to communicate effectively & build relationships at all levels
• Proven level of accuracy and attention to detail
• GCSE Maths and English Grade C or Above or Equivalent
• Track record of exam success and continued progression in relation to a professional accounting exam (AAT/CIMA/ACCA) or an interest in starting
