What does being a Finance Analyst at InHealth involve?

• To take ownership of processes and tasks currently being performed across commercial finance, ensuring consistency and comparability between service lines
• To identify and drive process improvement, saving time, resource and adding value
• To work in with the Group Finance Manager and Commercial business partners to provide clear, accurate and timely financial reporting
• To provide the Group Finance Manager with financial support to include insightful analysis with innovative recommendations
• To work closely with budget holders for the better management of the cost base to include challenging assumptions and financial modelling
• To work within a framework of financial controllership and reporting, ensuring that company policies and procedures are followed and reporting timeframes adhered to.

What skills and experience will you need to apply?

• Experience of working within a finance department.
• Fundamental accounting principles demonstrated by in-role experience and progress in studying for a professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) or recently qualified.
• Experience at manipulating and analysing high volumes of data and reporting findings concisely and understanding the commercial drivers behind the numbers.
• Ability to review business processes and performance on an operational level.
• Proven track record in making reporting efficiencies whilst maintaining strong controls.
• To communicate effectively with finance and non-finance colleagues as well as be seen as a credible finance partner to senior management.
• Must be able to demonstrate a high level of understanding and enthusiasm about the business.
• Computer literate (MS Office) including intermediate Excel.
