ING, Australia’s most recommended bank is on the hunt for a number of Senior Talent Acquisition Consultants to join its high performing team to specialise in the end to end recruitment across a range of our business domains including our Wholesale, Operations, Digital, Risk, Tech, Finance, KYC and Retail business domains and help to shape the future direction of the function.

You’ll attract the best talent in the market to ING, whilst providing guidance and industry best practice expertise to your stakeholder groups and peers. This will be achieved through identifying opportunities for us to implement strategic recruitment practices and methodologies that allow us to proactively drive recruitment for varied and unique roles, as well as those that are repeatable and consistently required.

In this key role, you’ll partner with HR Business Partners, Business Leaders, and your Team, to enhance the quality of hire and elevate our current service offering by utilising your expert knowledge of best practice and working with your manager to ensure these opportunities are identified and implemented. What are you going to do? You will be …

• Managing the end to end recruitment of roles across a varied portfolio but mainly focused on the Wholesale, Operations, Digital, Risk, Tech, Finance, KYC and Retail business domains by determining the appropriate recruitment/selection strategy
• Proactively sourcing candidates following briefing calls to finalise a shortlist; supporting candidates through the interview process to the offer stage
• Working with ING’s Sourcing Partner, Randstad SourceRight to develop and nurture external talent pools for repeatable and prioritised job families using a combination of online and offline methods
• Identifying opportunities to streamline processes to improve the effectiveness of the recruitment experience and to provide a better experience for all impacted parties
• Partnering with HR and key stakeholders on various projects and activities including the enhancement of the assessment process to reduce attrition, increase diversity, enhance reporting and the use of metrics and data to drive decisions, and many other projects or initiatives identified
• Recruiting quality hires, through multiple channels, with minimal agency usage, in a challenging landscape

What are we looking for? Someone who has…

• Proven experience as a recruitment professional, ideally within an evolving large scale professional/financial services environment within either an internal and/or agency end to end recruitment setting – banking experience would be seen as highly advantageous
• Project Coordination skills with an ability to work to tight deadlines and be a true self-starter who is not only always looking for continuous improvement opportunities but who then takes the lead on owning these through to implementation and beyond
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated influencing capability with senior leaders across the business and HR
• A positive, adaptable and flexible attitude with a natural creative problem solving ability
