Infraspec Looking for Project Controls / Planning Engineer at Birmingham, West Midlands (County) Full Time

On behalf of our client, we are looking to recruit a Project Controls / Planning Engineer on a permanent basis to work on a major multi-billion-pound Infrastructure led programmes on a hybrid working basis, 2-3 days in the Birmingham office and the remaining days from home.

You will be supporting these large-scale multi-million-pound projects, covering all areas from design through to project completion.

Within the team, you will play a key role in ensuring that the Primavera P6 programmes accurately to update the scope of work with correct milestone dates, durations and resources required to effectively deliver the projects. Furthermore, you will need to ensure the integrity of the planned dates and risk events submitted by sub-contractors. Working effectively with various levels of stakeholders is key, so excellent communication skills, verbal and written are a must.

Required Skills

• Strong Experience of building schedules from scratch using Primavera and/or MS Projects

• Major Capital project experience across one or more of the following sectors: Transport (Rail/Airports/Highways), Utilities or Civils

• Good knowledge of working with data, reporting and analysis to identify issues, options, and solutions

• Capability to present data in a clear and concise manor, tailored to the stakeholders’ requirement

Salary – £50K – £55K depending upon experience + benefits package
