Main Purpose

Responsible for all aspects of financial reporting, control and compliance for the region. Provide support to the local business and corporate HQ to drive strategic growth, planning and to support effective decision making.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsibility for producing management accounts for UK & Sweden & Denmark and coordinating the monthly close.
• Provide financial support to local management team, employees and corporate finance functions
• Responsibility for providing monthly cashflow forecast
• Work closely with shared service centre (offshore)
• Manage and develop the regional finance team to ensure effective business support
• Responsible for managing timely Payroll processing & accounting.
• Preparation of Qtrly VAT Returns & EC Sales Listing.
• Fixed Asset & Capital Expenditure Accounting..
• Developing Process improvements and efficiencies.
• Preparation of Qtrly Tax Provisions & Returns.
• Coordinate statutory audit and preparation of statutory accounts
• Provide input into annual budgeting process and support FP&A teams

Key Skills

• CIMA or ACCA Qualified (3 to 5 years relevant post qualification experience).
• Competent user of MS Excel (Pivot tables VLookups etc.).
• Experienced user of accounting software (Ideally Oracle Cloud)
• Experience within Software Technology sector.
• Experience within a multinational environment (Ideally US with knowledge of USGAAP)
• Good Communicator.
• Well Organized.
• Ability to work well under Pressure and meet tight deadlines.
