Job Description
This new role sits at the heart of our digital and cultural transformation and will help shape & transform the ways in which we operate by leveraging the strengths and potential of our young talent and the role they can play in accelerating and maximising business growth and future success.
We are undergoing a period of significant change. This role will help to incorporate digital and data, diversity & inclusion, individual accountability, and continuous self-development into everything we do.
You will devise, own and manage our approach and offerings relating to our colleagues in entry level/ early career/ apprenticeship /and new starter roles, with accountability for their successful onboarding and onwards growth at Informa.
This will include the development of strong business relationships and consulting across all levels of the organisation; the end-to-end development and delivery of new initiatives and programmes for these groups; the promotion and fostering of our inclusive culture; as well as helping ensure the business has future-focussed talent pools and pipelines.

This role will be balanced between working in office and at home.
Roles & Responsibilities
Consulting (20%)

• Partner with the HRBP team to identify entry level roles in the forecast and devise approach around those
• Lead the development and delivery of early career initiatives and programmes
• Partner with HR to ensure there are clear role profiles for the early starter roles
• Participate in the placement process for early starters with an eye toward D&I compliance
• Partner with the CAN Network and Early Careers’ Informa Group Lead and peers on cross-divisional needs and activities

Apprenticeships (20%)

• Help devise and lead on the apprenticeship strategy and levy utilisation
• Design an apprenticeship EVP
• Act as subject matter expert on the apprenticeship scheme to the business
• Create a community for the apprentices (main contact and person of trust for our apprentices internally, their respective managers and apprenticeship providers)

Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) (20%)

• Apply a strong D&I lens to everything you do and evidence such in jointly agreed D&I deliverables
• Participate in the D&I committee and work toward appropriate communal D&I goals to deliver the agenda
• Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team in determining, establishing and introducing new talent pool sources and/or partnerships, eg with schools, universities, career centres in underprivileged areas

Design & Delivery of Initiatives and Training (20%)

• End-to-end delivery of your groups’ programmes, including producing and maintaining training packs/materials, scheduling sessions, attending to logistical questions, monitoring and reporting attendance, processing invoices etc
• Responsible for all third-party suppliers relating to outlined groups- select, conceptualise, build and maintain high impact relationships
• Track, measure and report progress against goals for colleagues in the programmes
• Ensuring a holistic user experience on Absorb with the L&P Manager

Onboarding (5%)

• Contribute to the shaping of the overall Connect on-boarding programme and lead the L&P responsibilities for on-boarding
• Partner with Informa Group’s Early Careers lead to coordinate the placements and process for graduates

Rising Talent (5%)

• Build top talent and rising star development plans leveraging the Performance Excellence functional scheme, foundational courses and by researching third party solutions to fill gaps

• General (10%)*

• Internal website (‘Portal’) creation and maintenance for areas relating to your client groups
• Managing the learning inbox relating to your client groups, including answering questions and resolving queries
• Supporting the Head of L&P with ad hoc request (eg producing material, invoicing, event scheduling)
• Attend conferences, trainings and other development as required
• Perform other duties as needed

• Demonstrated experience in Learning and Performance or HR
• Experience with either early career, apprenticeship or graduate programmes
• Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering training
