THE TEAM

The successful candidate will join our Data Automation team to ensure we Provide customers with the highest quality data experience in the most timely manner.

THE CHALLENGE

Your challenge will be to support the Data Automation Manager using existing data wrangling processes. Directly contributing to their smooth delivery, efficiency, and automation.

THE ROLE

As a Data Specialist at Inflo you will be responsible for:

• Assisting clients with the extraction of data from their systems, by supporting the ETL process (Extract, Transform, and Load)
• Performing data transformation into our Common Data Model (CDM) ensuring data is of sufficient quality to be interpreted by the platform.
• Assisting with the manual transformation of General Ledger and Trial Balance information from accounting system report formats into the Inflo Common Data Model including accounting judgement enrichment.
• Assisting with the analysis of, and extraction from accounting system backups (primarily MS SQL)
• Identify potential improvements and efficiencies that can be separately designed and implemented within Inflo itself

THE SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED)

• Introductory accountancy knowledge or experience
• Have a good working knowledge of Excel
• Have an aptitude for problem solving
• Hold the ability to use own initiative
• Be willing to learn new skills

THE SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRABLE)

• Basic knowledge of SQL
• Accounting qualification (CPA, CA or Degree)
• Audit industry experience
