Electrical Engineer- Tech Hardware Design Position Overview:

This is a permanent position which offers a great opportunity for career growth in a creative and collaborative environment. As one of the company’s hardware design engineers, you will be responsible for the design of both digital and RF circuits, switching power supplies, and integrated antennas, all in the context of mostly battery powered devices. Your designs will be part of Indyme’s newest range of innovative solutions for the retail space. You will be responsible for the design, manufacturability, testability, and cost, of products you’re designing.

This position is located on-site at our headquarters in San Diego, CA. No relocation provided. Will consider local candidates or those willing to relocate themselves to San Diego prior to start date. Must be authorized to work in the US.

Key Job Requirements:

Design digital and analog circuits, component evaluation and selection, design validation and qualification
Schematic capture and simulation
Testing of your breadboards and prototype designs
Experience with raspberry pi preferred
Knowledgeable in programming languages as C, C++ and Python
View and modifying OrCAD, Altium, and Eagle project files
Work with part vendors to optimize the design for cost and manufacturability
Prepare technical documentation, manage version controls from prototyping through production
Work with other resources to transfer products to production
