You will assist the accounting team by providing support for all of IPC’s locations (3 in Indiana and 1 in Pennsylvania). Primary areas of focus are, but not limited to daily processing of invoices received and assisting with accurate and timely payment to our vendors; performing accounts receivable duties to ensure accurate and efficient collection of our sales.

As our Accounting Clerk, you will:

• Review and enter invoices from our vendors into our accounting system
• Ensure timely payment to our vendors
• Assist with company credit card reconciliation and entry
• Assist with printing checks, matching to support, mailing, and filing
• Perform daily financial transactions to process billing for our customers
• Assist in the collection and payment application process
• Verify discrepancies and assist with resolving customer issues
• Assist in collection efforts by sending reminders and contacting clients
• Excellent communications skills with both our vendors and customers

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Understanding of basic principles of finance and accounting
• Extreme attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Associate Degree in accounting is preferred
• Prior experience with accounts payable or receivable is preferred
• Experience with accounting software is preferred
