We are looking for an Area Manager in Ottawa. The Area Manager oversees several facilities, within a defined geographic area. The manager will be responsible for the coordination and day-to-day management of all functions (staffing, equipment, overall operations). Why Join Indigo?We believe in personal and professional development, which is why we take training seriously.We believe in recognizing and rewarding excellent performanceWe believe in employee empowerment What Would You Be Doing?Administration:Manage the car parkEnsure that the needs of each client are met promptly, and with a high degree of accuracyAssist General Manager and Operations ManagerMonthly Variance Report and Operations ManagerPrepare purchase orders and approve invoices for each car rentalManage all personal injuryEnsure that accounting department has all necessary information (on time) to prepare customer invoices for labor and management servicesOperations:Establish, and maintain proper operational procedures for each locationCoordinate with Supervisors daily, to ensure smooth operation of each rentalConduct regular, on-site training of staff, to ensure all internal / external policies are being adhered to (uniform, lot conditions, customer service, etc.)Coordinate with Supervisors for regular lot auditsAssist with account receivable (A / R) functions when requiredReview and submit Supervisor weekly planner and weekly operations meetingHuman Resources:Manage and supervise the daily activities of the SupervisorsEnsure that hiring policies are followed for each employeeEnsure that all terminations have the approval of General ManagerConduct annual performance reviews of Supervisors, and semi-annual reviews of field staffConduct interviews on regular basis, for current and future staffing requirementsTake disciplinary measures when and where required, with staffApprove and submit all payroll for field staffWhat Are We Looking For?A minimum of 2 years operational and management experienceProven customer & customer relations experienceExcellent Oral and Written Communication skillsIndigo Park has adjusted its recruitment process to reflect the current climate we live in due to COVID-19.
